GB7DX D-Star Repeater located in Ashford, Kent, South East UK
GB7DX went live at the start 28th March 2008, it is fully operational on 70Cms. GB7DX is connected to the K5TIT G2 Network. Assuming you are registered on the K5TIT network you can operate via the GB7DX Gateway. Thanks should go to the UKIT team who have been assisting us with testing to ensure a seamless transition from the UK Test Network to the K5TIT Network.
My callsign is M0TMX, and I am the Repeater Keeper for GB7DX. The repeater is located at my home in Ashford (see the map below), currently I am running only one port, port B, 70cm's. As the funds become available I would like to add the additional ports for 2m and 1.2GHz Voice and Data at some point in the future.
Output 439.700MHz
Input 430.700MHz
The antenna is a Diamond V2000, which is about 50m asl, signal reports for the repeater are always welcome. You can query the status of GB7DX by sending "GB7DX__IX" This will tell you what the repeater is linked to. In the evented it not linked to anything, you will just see the time appear in your display
I'm an APRS fan and I run APRS in the car, so you can track me here if I'm out and about. I have an IC-E2820 which is of course, D-Star capable, in the car so give me a call if you see me mobile. Check out my mobile set up here. GB7DX will send your DPRS data so that it appears on UI View or APRS.FI, however, I would be grateful if you would not send Automatic beacons via the Repeater, set your radio to send its beacon on PTT.
Anyone with a D Star radio can access the repeater locally, but please note that if you wish to operate using the Gateway, you have to be registered. I can do that for local users, which allows you to use any D Star repeater worldwide. If you wish to be registered on the gateway, please e-mail me at sysop@gb7dx.com

GB7DX - DV Dongle Users Welcome Here..........
DV Dongle users are welcome to call into GB7DX. Local users will need to remember that for DV Dongle users to hear them they must have RPT1 set to "GB7DX B", as usual, but they must also have RPT 2 set to "GB7DX G" otherwise Dongle users will not be able to hear them. We finally have an official outlet in the the UK to order the DV Dongle from. You can order it from Martin Lynch & Sons and Waters & Stanton in the UK. Also worth a look is the DV Dongle website where you can get more information.
